NEW RELEASE 2018
The forging of iron and steel in Shizukuishi is said to have origins that go back a thousand years and more. The color of the dial on this timepiece evokes the firing of the forge and expresses the scorching heat of molten iron. Three tiny symbols, the G and the S of Grand Seiko and the S of Daini Seikosha (now Seiko Instruments) where the 9S mechanical movement was created, are stamped in a pattern that radiates out from the center. Automatic winding, 42.0mm case in stainless steel, limited edition of 1,300.
