配備新款石英機芯Caliber「9F85」，其指針設計為僅包含時針、分針、秒針的簡單3指針設計，並且追加了針對時針的時差修正功能。可以在不停止手錶運作的狀態下調整時針，在不影響石英錶的高精準度的情況下修正時差。
錶殼部分以現代化的方式詮釋1967年發售的「44GS」錶款所確立獨有設計理念──「Seiko Style」所定義的「燦然生輝的腕錶」，在施加超鏡面研磨、毫無瑕疵的鏡面處理之下，形成以平面為主的精美表面、經過鏡面處理與稜線處理的平面彼此結合而產生的立體感、配備12處多面切削處理指標的寬廣錶盤、這些要素彼此相互輝映，實現了美麗的光輝與高度的視覺辨識性。
