18k yellow gold model
The re-creation of the first Grand Seiko faithfully recreates the aura of the original model. The logo is embossed on the dial, the name of the shock-resistance system, Diashock, is printed at the 6 o’clock position, and the special dial mark indicating that the markers are 18k is also included. Hand winding, 38.0mm case in 18k yellow gold, limited edition of 353 pieces worldwide.
In March 2017, a new chapter in the Grand Seiko story began. Grand Seiko became independent, with the Grand Seiko name and GS symbol taking pride of place at the 12 o’clock position on every dial.
The first creations from the re-born Grand Seiko are limited collections that pay homage to the first Grand Seiko. These re-creations come in three different cases: platinum, yellow gold and stainless steel. The modern re-interpretation features a case made from Brilliant Hard Titanium.
